I agree wholeheartedly, I have been involved in dog training and early puppy education for over 30 years and also run a busy animal behaviour practice in South Africa, and feel that solving animal behaviour & training problems is often just a case of finding the right motivation for each individual animal. As long as it is non-confrontational and does not cause stress, pain or fear - anything goes. Besides would any human put in a full day's work for free??

Training with treats or toys is not bribery - its payment for a job well done, or a lure to teach a behaviour!

I usually find it much harder to train the owners than their pets!

thanks good reading. i agree, "the great majority of dogs are intelligent enough to grasp basic obedience commands when training is intelligently presented."
